The result is an immense panel with a large number of figures, shown in bright colors. The families are grouped around Moses, who holds the tablets of the law. The figures in the background wear contemporary clothing. People can literally read their names from close by at times. Other bystanders are dressed in oriental. Before the feet of Moses lie the gifts that the Israelites gave him.
